End Tool Slide - The largest (55mm) tool-installing hole in its class. Dual Chevron beds minimize zigzag motion and deterioration   NC Slide - Highly rigid slide surface. Enclosed. Chaser-type structure enables 1 to 3 holders.   Wide Tooling Zone and Chip Floor - Rigid box construction. Special motor and gear ensure speedy and powerful indexing.


Shimada was the first in the world to develop and produce a CNC 6-Spindle Automatic Lathe.

  • Rough machining is conducted at positions with no NC slide, and finishing is conducted at the NC position.
  • A processing speed that is approximately four times that of general purpose NC lathes.
  • High precision processing is realized through the use of a divided structure that utilizes NC slide cutting and curvic coupling (optional).
  • Max. turning diameter is 60mm (2.36").
  • Collet chuck or 5 inch hydraulic chuck.
  • Saves space, energy, and manpower.
  • A maximum of three NC slides can be mounted.
